Well I recently purchased a nice arrangement of gouache paints and have been told they are hard to work with.....I have been having a ball with them!! I really enjoy watercolors but at times I would like to paint a little quicker without being scared of going too dark. I'm working on a group project for a animation short next semester and am in charge up BG's layouts, painting, and color keys. I'm working on some Vis Dev stuff right now. Here are a few of my Gouache studies I have been playing around with the last few days. Enjoy!
Well here are a few of the watercolor paintings done at Irvine National park ( which I didn't even knew existed) and one from Crystal Cove. I have some more but I need to scan them in in pieces or take a photograph because they are a lil larger. But let me know what you think, (side note: I just purchased a whole gouache setup and will be trying that out coming up so wish me luck I hear it can be tough) Enjoy
Well I just got a kick in the pants to do more Photoshop paintings and .....I'm LOving it! I didn't know how quickly a painting can come along. Here is one that I did in an hour. Let me know what you think and if anyone has any tips let me know. oh and thanks Carrie for reminding me of my lost friend photoshop.
